Prior to his current role as a Children’s and Youth Librarian Garry Fay has been a roadie, a record store manager, a primary school teacher, a gifted education tutor, a visual literacy consultant, co-host of the ‘It’s All Geek To Me’ radio show, a comic book store owner and published author of several adventures and supplements for various role-playing games.
Even though the pain lanced through his brain, one thought kept coming back to him over and over again. Can you cry without eyes?
I am currently readying a final draft of Crowhand for publication, as well as completing a new tale for the ‘Faeries Wear Boots’ collection entitled ‘On A Storyteller’s Night.’ This new tale commemorates the work of Tony Clarkin, (RIP), songwriter and guitarist for the band, Magnum.

The Jericho AgendaThese are works written for the gaming industry. The Adventure of the Castle of Tears appeared in Blood and Lust, The Adventure of the Helmed Knight appeared in The Spectre King, and The Adventure of the Rosebriar Kingth appeared in Tales of Magic and Miracles. All were written for the Pendragon Role-playing game and published by Chaosium. The Judas Grail is a stand-alone adventure written for the Kult role-playing game.
Music has played a huge part in the creative process for me for years. Prior to training as a primary school teacher I worked in and managed a number of record stores. I have a dedicated music room in my house where I keep my collection of vinyl, cds, music books and music memorabilia.
I am currently looking to publish a couple of music inspired projects; a novel entitled ‘The Jericho Agenda’ and a collection of original hard-rock faerie tales, ‘Faeries Wear Boots.’
